Notifications are an important method of communicating with users and providing feedback. They range from granular, inline responses to user actions to system-wide messages.

Usage

Inline

Feedback on the system is displayed above the content from the first level. This can be system faults, updates or maintenance information.

Notes and messages that are related to content are displayed within the section or card. This can be general feedback on form validations or entries

Fullscreen notification

At the end of a creation process, a concluding message can be added as a central element. The decisive factor here is always a call to action for further action.

Toast notifications

In some cases, it can be useful to give feedback discreetly and without interrupting the actual activity. As soon as this happens when changing the context (screen), the hint can be placed as an overlay element. The message can be removed with the close button or disappears after a defined period of a few seconds.
